The prizewinners trip, club exchanges, Stephen Cullinane Scholarship, European Rally and club travel are just some of the ways Macra members travel the world. In the past members have taken part in the prizewinners trip having visited Moscow, Cape Cod, Amsterdam, Budapest and Krakow. In August 2005 a group of members were involved in a Youth Project exchange with the Devon Young Farmers. In November 2005 members went on the Macra trip to Barcelona. In June 2006 a group of members attended the Royal Edinburgh Show in Scotland. July 2007 a group attended the Royal Welsh Show. The Swedish summer trip in 2008 was the a huge success with thirteen members visiting Gotthenburg and taking a day trip to Copenhagen. The 2009 trip began in Munich with a road trip to Salzburg.
